Berryfields Crossing is a new community-focused commercial development centred around a luxury multi-screen cinema and casual dining, currently under construction in Richmond West, in the Nelson Tasman region.

Stage 1 is leasing now. The anchor tenant, Silky Otter Cinemas, brings a unique luxury cinematic experience to the region. In front of the cinema are two Food & Beverage offerings along with a standalone Restaurant/Eatery, centred around the “village green”, the heart of Berryfields Crossing.

The proposed entire development will include convenience retail and commercial space (for professional offices and commercial service activities) to complement the multi-screen cinema and food & beverage offerings. A new service station is being developed adjacent to the Berryfields Crossing site as well.

Retail spend in the core catchment is currently estimated at $185m per annum, 60% of which is associated with food and beverage related retailing. Being a high growth catchment, the projected growth in retail demand means that by 2038, annual retail spend in the core catchment is estimated to grow to $256m.
