Kens construction experience started 1968 in Wellington completing a five year building cadetship with Cubitt Wells Ltd. Work continued into Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Construction Planning. 1973 Ken was awarded a scholarship to study in London and also worked as a planning engineer on the Thamesmead project. 1975 Ken started work at Gibbons Construction as Quantity Surveyor /Estimator
Tom Brett

Tom has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and started work with Gibbons Construction in 1992. He initially trained as a Land Surveyor gaining a B.Sc.Surv. from Otago University and then moved into construction in the late 1970’s. Tom is responsible for planning, appointing suitable Site Managers and construction staff, co-ordinating and programming the various projects that Gibbons Construction undertakes. The construction staff numbers vary between 25 and 50 and there can be several multi-million dollar jobs in progress at any one point in time.
Marvin Smith

Marvin has been with Gibbons Construction for 14 years and has over 30 years in the construction industry. He has worked for professional practices and construction companies as a Quantity Surveyor on residential, commercial, industrial, defence and government projects in NZ and overseas.
